I have been a Chartered Accountant for 30 years. I have worked in senior positions in a variety of firms, gaining experience of many businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises. I now focus on running my own practice, which has existed for over 20 years.

I have extensive experience of auditing, accounting and taxation matters in the UK and deal regularly with accounting issues for small and medium sized companies, as well as individuals. This type of work regularly involves having to analyse the accounting records and information provided and prepare accounts for agreement with clients. I have used his same skill effectively over a number of years in the field of forensic accounting.

For about 15 years, I have specialised also in adversarial situations, such as tax inquiries and court cases, and also provided tax consultancy generally. I have been involved with court cases, both civil and criminal, on either side of the argument.

I am computer literate and I use searching and analytical techniques regularly in the course of my work.
